Fall and Mediation

By now, many couples are getting frustrated by the litigation process they started in the Spring when they finally decided to separate. I get many clients in the fall. Sadly, it’s only after many have spent thousands on attorneys. I have many friends who are attorneys and yet there are many attorneys out there who will work for many hours on splitting a hair when the couple might have worked it out in a few minutes.

There is a major difference between getting a zealous advocate and getting someone who is neutral. You have to decide what you want and need. There are many situations that attorneys are indispensable, and many situations that mediation can save both time and money. Unless you’re in need of a court order, many try mediation first because it’s cheaper.
